Continuing on with the annual tradition of a Somarium White day, an auction will occur! But it's a little different from the previous auctions held. This year White Day will be handled by RAD ( short for Rose Academy Detectives).
Of course the is 100% OOC voluntary, you don't have to participate in this event, but if you are interested even if your character isn't! Details are below.
What's White Day? It's a holiday celebrated on March 14 and observed in Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan. On Valentine's day it's customary for the girls to give the men they like or have a platonic relationship with, chocolate. White day is where that favor is returned from the men who received Valentine's day chocolate, they must give something in return to the girl.
It is RAD's belief that on White Day every girl should feel special. Like a princess. And instead of waiting for their Prince Charming to come, they can choose them! The men on auction will be considered to be the princes to their princesses ( the bidders). They are obligated to make their bidder feel like the princess they truly are for this one day.
The Auction
For all men who signed up or didn't sign up, they will present an offering. In order to make sure the men auctioned off aren't abused by their princely obligations, they must present an appealing service to do with their princess. Any recreational activity that can make this day special for their princess. For example, Nokoru might take his princess on a Hot Balloon ride around Somarium. Based on their offering, and of course the prince himself...the Princesses will vote on who they desire.
Who can be auctioned off? This is a male only auction. So only men can be auctioned off.
Who can be bidders? Bidders don't have to be female. They can be man, woman, alien, mutant or pony.
How much is each bid? Each bid will start at 10 Dreampoints. 50 Dreampoints will be the Buy now option. All funds raised during the event will go to a local charity.
What else does the bidder get? Every winner not only gets their Prince, but a royal treatment fitting for a princess. A white limousine to ride with her prince from the auction to any destination. Various gift certificates to Somarium's many boutiques and Spas. An invitation to a White Day Banquet to finish off the night!
Need some ICly persuasion?
Not all characters will be willing to participate, and that's fine. A mysterious benefactor by name of The General will be signing up the unwilling on their behalf. It wouldn't be a White Day auction without a few hidden gems and shy eligible bachelors.
